Mamma Mia! Here We Get Again took x years to arrive, but that's OK. The original has had time to breathe and to mature, the bandage time to gracefully age a piffling, and after all, ABBA never gets one-time or goes out of style. The fourth dimension feels right, and Here We Go Over again delights. The movie is congenital around paralleling stories, i set at present, ten years subsequently the original, and it's also peppered with fun and compelling flashback sequences that take viewers back to the late 1970s, where they can become to know the characters all over again and, yup, savour more takes on ABBA's greatest hits. It's not necessarily superior to the original, but it'south a delightful complimentary add-on that manages to reuse the same soundtrack in an entirely different way.

Mamma Mia! Hither We Become Again was reportedly digitally photographed at a resolution of 2.8K and finished at 2K. The movie radiates off the screen in upscaled 4K, giving off an impeccably clear, bright, vivid, colorful, and finely appointed image that takes the wonderful underlying qualities of the first-class Blu-ray and tightens the image, oft considerably, from the top to bottom. The motion picture is richly textured and abundantly colorful in nearly every scene; even sourced from an upscaled DI, the UHD format's benefits are obvious throughout. Clarity is extremely loftier, and the resultant heave in textural intimacy and sharpness cannot be missed. Expanded definition of skin, clothes (particularly woven harbinger hats), roughhewn environmental details, even big-scale elements similar water and grasses savor an effortless visual complexity. Racket is refined and not particularly intrusive, even across some darker backgrounds or lower-light locales. Other source or encode issues are essentially nonexistent.
Colors are just as much of a highlight. The Dolby Vision presentation offers a brilliantly refined palette that gives just as much attention to detail and vividness to loud, bold colors as it does less dynamic, simply no less critical, earthy backgrounds or otherwise would-be flat or bland colors. Certainly more colorful attire, rich blueish ocean waters and deep bluish skies, and intensely colored and finely nuanced natural greens are amongst the seemingly ever-present highlights, but pay attending to simpler backgrounds and essential hues that are given just equally much a say in the visual shape of any given scene as the loudest primaries. Black levels are impeccably deep and detailed with nary a hint of crush or gray push. Whites are noticeably more crisp and bright compared to the Blu-ray, where they're a fleck more flat and less dynamic. The increases in brightness, saturation, and color nuance certainly help tighten up the epitome, and combined with the added upscaled resolution and dramatic increase in clarity and the disc is a winner, on its own and definitely over the Blu-ray.
